I know the timing on this makes it seem like I’m jumping on the Rock Chick‘s bandwagon, but I promise this is something I’ve been thinking about doing for MONTHS. But…I’m moving my blog to my own domain!
It just so happens that the domain “braindungeon.com” was available! Sooooo, I made the purchase and got it all set up today! I haven’t moved it over yet, so if you happen to try to find it before I do, you may get an error message, but I promise it won’t be long before I get everything moved over.
I know I’ve been pretty quiet lately, but I have a feeling that’s about to change because of some things that have been on my mind. Thanks, How I Lost Thirty Pounds in Thirty Days! Upon reflection, I guess my post really was very well written. It kind of just came to me…there was really not even much thought behind it! I don’t think I even spent more than a minute or two typing it out. It had been a long day and I was exhausted. It’s amazing how well I can pull through in even the most trying of conditions.
I could try to post more about this, but I’m not sure what more there is to say. Is there something specific you’d like to know? I suppose I could go into fine detail about how I almost purchased the domain through one place but realized they were going to charge me 1.5 times the amount as someone else. Or, if you’d like to know about how I converted my primary domain so that this one could be my primary domain, I could let you know all about that too. Just let me know what you’d like to hear about and I’ll tell you all about it!

Thanks, Jessica! You know…somehow I just knew that you’d be one of the first on my site! lol I almost tweeted about it last night, but decided to wait until I get one of my first new posts up here. I’m not sure I really like this theme, but I couldn’t find another one that I really just liked more. It kind of has that dungeon look to it, hence the reason I used it. I’m gonna have to learn how to write my own theme or find someone who will write one for me, lol.
I have a bunch of WordPress plugins that someone told me I should use. I don’t have them all activated, but I could certainly get you a list and you could see which you want and which you don’t.
AND – since you and I are iPhone buddies, you might want to check out the iPhone app for WordPress…it’s not fantabulous or anything, but you can post with it if you have something you JUST want to blog about while you’re out and about…you can also use it to moderate your comments. It’s pretty nifty.
Sweet!! I really like the new digs!! You seem to be a bit more of a WordPress expert than I am…you did this pretty quickly! I had a heck of a time getting my posts to import from Blogger. About two years’ worth did and that was it. I slowly but surely just copied and pasted over the rest. I’m still moving along. If there’s any WordPress Must-Do’s that you know of, give me a shout!
